What clients and associates have to say ...
Glenn Miller, Vice President, Canadian Urban Institute
“Daniel was a key member of the team that conceptualized Value Planning as an area of practice, leveraging work Daniel completed earlier for the Province of Ontario and the City of Ottawa. We have benefited from Daniel's advice on a number of complex projects. He is a valued member of the CUI's network of Senior Associates and is someone whose skills and integrity are beyond reproach”.
Tony Sroka, Managing Partner and Director of Sustainable Development, CIMA Canada Inc.

Danielle McDonald, Chief Executive Officer, Ottawa Public Library
“The Ottawa Public Library retained Danix Management Limited to produce the 2010 Facilities Investment and Growth Planning Study. The objectives of this study were: to analyze growth trend projections in the City of Ottawa between 2010 and 2030; assess the impact of these projected trends on the requirements for future or expanded facilities of the Ottawa Public Library; assess funding available for future facilities as identified through the City of Ottawa Development Charges Bylaw; and make recommendations for new or expanded facilities - including conclusions as to potential appropriate locations.
The following year Danix was retained to produce an expenditure forecast for existing facilities to 2025. This was delivered in the form of an Excel based prioritization tool that allows OPL staff to modify cost, revenue, facility condition and demand parameters to continuously recast spending priorities in relation to need and availability of funding.
Both pieces of work, produced by Daniel Nixey, were very well received by the OPL Facilities Planning Committee. The work was developed to high standard and this information is now being used to assist the Board better understand its future facility expenditure requirements and rationalize its expenditure decisions.
Colin Hall, Vice President, Holinshed Research Group Inc.

His vision, leadership, and organizational skills have been paramount to the success achieved by the project. His no-nonsense approach keeps everyone on the team focused on their short-term tasks while never losing sight of the long-term goals of the project as a whole.”
